2019 CFDA Fashion Fund Winner and Designer, Christopher John Rogers, and Studio Director David Rivera, traveled to Oakland for three days of high-fashion festivities in collaboration with McMullen and All The Pretty Birds. The 25-year-old designer, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, based in Manhattan, has become well known for his voluminous silhouettes in vibrant hues and glittering swarovski embellished separates. For their first trip to California, they not only launched the brands first Trunk Show with McMullen and joined us for a celebratory dinner experience, we also collaborated on a magical editorial to launch the Spring 2020 collection. Tamu McPherson, Founder of All the Pretty Birds, was fresh off of a flight from Los Angeles and ready to capture the moment as our photographer.
